The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No.518 of 2024 arising out of Gorhar P.S. Case No. 33 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 80, 3(5) of the B.N.S., pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI-cum-Special Judge C.A.W., Hazaribagh.

Petitioner is the father-in-law of the deceased Sangita Devi, who died a homicidal death in her matrimonial home.

It was submitted that the witnesses have stated that deceased was having illicit relationship with two persons Rahul Paswan and Saddam Ansari. Being aggrieved by the illicit relationship of his wife, husband of the deceased namely Santu Kumar Singh @ Santu Singh left his matrimonial home. On the date of occurrence deceased was caught in compromising position with one of Rahul Paswan. The accused persons being agitated assaulted her, due to which she succumbed to her injuries.

It appears that husband of the deceased namely Santu Kumar Singh @ Santu Singh has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No. 3824 of 2025.

In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI-cum-Special Judge C.A.W., Hazaribagh, in connection with S.T. No.518 of 2024 arising out of Gorhar P.S. Case No. 33 of 2024.
