The prayer in the writ petition is made for direction upon the respondents to accept the rent and issue online rent receipt in view of the fact that by order dated 13.10.2009 passed in Case No.280/2007, the Survey Settlement Officer cum Revenue Officer, Dhanbad has corrected the continuous khatiyan under Section 87 of the Chotanagpur Tenancy Act by entering the name of the petitioner and his brothers.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has moved before the Circle Officer, Baghmara, District- Dhanbad and the Deputy Commissioner, Dhanbad for issuance of online receipts with respect to the property in question, however, no decision has yet been taken.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner may move before the Circle Officer, Baghmara, District- Dhanbad, who will pass appropriate order.

In view of the above, this writ petition is being disposed of with direction to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Circle Officer, Baghmara, District- Dhanbad within two weeks and after receiving the same, the Circle Officer, Baghmara, District- Dhanbad will take a decision, in accordance with law within further period of four weeks thereafter.
