This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with a prayer for issuance of appropriate writ/order/direction commanding upon the respondents to conduct investigation of the case bearing Doranda P.S. Case No.298 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code in a proper and fair manner and to conclude the investigation of the case at the earliest.

Learned Addl.P.P. appearing for the State draws the attention of this Court to Annexure-A on page No.6 of the counter-affidavit dated 05.02.2024 and submits that the investigation of the case is already over and charge-sheet has been submitted against the accused persons of the case for having committed the offence punishable under Section 419/406/420/34 of the Indian

Considering the aforesaid undisputed fact that the investigation of the case of Doranda P.S. Case No.298 of 2018 has already been completed and charge-sheet has already been submitted; this Court is of the considered view that the prayer made in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of being infructuous.
