The present contempt petition has been filed for initiating contempt proceeding against the opposite party nos.2 & 3 for their wilful and deliberate violation of order dated 8^th October, 2014 passed in W.P. (S) No.251 of 2014 as well as order dated 27^th November, 2015 passed in Cont. Case (Civil) No.157 of 2015.

Mr. Manish Mishra, learned G.P.V refers to paragraph nos.16 & 17 of the 5^th supplementary show cause affidavit filed on behalf of the opposite party no.2, which read as under:

“16. That it is humbly stated and submitted that after passing of order dated 26.04.2024 the instant contempt case by the Hon’ble Court, the Answering Opposite Parties took the required steps with regard to the grant of promotions to Grade IV scale to the eligible teachers in the district of Lohardaga, including the Petitioners in the instant case. The said cases for promotion were considered and decided in the District Education Establishment Committee meeting dated 02.07.2024. 17. That it is humbly stated and submitted that in pursuance of the resolution of the District Education Establishment Committee meeting dated 02.07.2024, necessary Office order has been passed by the

Answering Opposite Party vide Office Order dated 03.07.2021 bearing No. 610.”

It is, thus, submitted that the aforesaid order of this Court has now been complied.

Learned counsel for the petitioners accepts the said fact.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the aforesaid submission made in the 5^th supplementary show cause affidavit filed on behalf of the opposite party no.2, there is no reason to proceed further in the present matter. The contempt proceeding as against the opposite parties is hereby dropped.

The present contempt case stands disposed of.
