The present contempt petition has been filed for initiation of contempt proceeding as against the opposite parties for willful violation of order dated 08.01.2019 passed in W.P.(C) No. 2561 of 2014.
2. Reference may be made to operative part of the aforesaid order which reads as under:
“In view of the aforesaid submissions as also on consideration of the factual aspect of the case, this writ application stands disposed of with a liberty to the petitioners to individually or jointly approach the respondent no. 4 through representations along with a copy of this order as also the original vouchers and the stock registers which would show purchase of nutritional elements, food-grains and meal at their respective Anganbari Centres for the period March 2011 to September 2011 and if the necessary documents are provided by the petitioners, the respondent no. 4 shall get it verified and if the same is found in order shall take effective measures so that the amount which is due to the petitioners are deposited in their accounts.”
3. Mr. Manav Poddar, learned A.C. to A.A.G.-I, refers to
paragraph-7 of the show cause affidavit dated 12.12.2023 filed on behalf of the opposite parties, which reads as under:

“7. That it is humbly stated and submitted that due to non-submission of original vouchers and stock registers before the opposite party no. 2, the verification of the same could not be done and therefore, the disbursement of the amount has not been done.”

It is evident from the order dated 08.01.2019 passed in W.P.(C) No. 2561 of 2014 that the petitioners were required to approach the opposite party no. 2 through representations along with original vouchers and the stock registers showing the purchase of nutritional elements, food-grains and meal at their respective Anganbari Centres for the concerned period. However, the petitioners failed to submit the original vouchers and stock registers before the said opposite party due to which the amount claimed by them could not be disbursed.
5. Under the said circumstance, this Court is of the view that
no case of contempt is made out against the opposite parties.
6. The contempt proceeding against the opposite parties is hereby dropped.
7. The contempt petition is accordingly dismissed.
