Heard the parties.
Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chutia P.S. Case No.117 of 2024, for the offence registered under sections 302/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Sri Shambhu Mahto, learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi.
During intervening night of 26-27.05.2024, co-accused Abhishek Singh shot the DJ Operator namely Sandeep Kumar Pramanik @ Sandy of Xtreme Sports Bar and Grill.
It was submitted that allegation against the petitioner is to help the coaccused Abhishek Singh in concealing the murder weapon. It was further submitted that similar allegation of co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court as well as Co-ordinate Bench of this Court.
In view of the fact that petitioner is not main assailant, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/(Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Shambhu Mahto, learned Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi or his successor, in connection with Chutia P.S. Case No.117 of 2024.
