Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Dumka (T) P.S. Case No. 224/2022, registered under Sections 353/ 385/ 387/ 506/ 120-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Dumka.
On 19.09.2022, three unknown persons on a motorcycle threw a carry bag at the police post outside the main gate post no. 1 of Dumka jail, carry bag contained threatening letters directed to the jailer and other jail officials.
It was submitted that the petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R. nor he was put on test identification parade. It was further submitted that the petitioner was arrested in connection with other case in which he has confessed his involvement in the present case. It was finally submitted that the petitioner is in custody for about 11 months.
Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Dumka in connection with Dumka (T) P.S. Case No. 224/2022.
