Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pindrajora P.S. Case No. 77 of 2023, consequent to G.R. No.1087 of 2023, for the offences under Sections 304-B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sri. R. K. Bhaskar, learned J. M., 1st Class, Bokaro.
Petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased namely Mira Devi. Mira Devi died an unnatural death within seven years of marriage in her matrimonial home. There is allegation that the petitioner and other coaccused persons used to demand dowry and land from the family members of the deceased.
It was submitted that the petitioner is old lady aged about 65 years. It was further submitted that there is general an omnibus allegation against the petitioner and co-accused Bhuwan Mahto @ Bhuvan Mahto @ Bhuwaneswar Mahato has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.8564 of 2023 by order dated 22.12.2023 and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing.
Mr. Vineet Kr. Vashistha, learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for
bail.
Considering the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri. R. K. Bhaskar, learned J. M., 1st Class, Bokaro or his successor in connection with Pindrajora P.S. Case No. 77 of 2023, consequent to G.R. No.1087 of 2023.
