Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No.214 of 2024, arising out of Ango P.S. Case No. 01 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. No.1097 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 304(B), 328, 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Thereafter, Chargesheet has been submitted under Sections 304(B), 328 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of Ms. Kashika M. Prasad, learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Hazaribag.
Petitioner is the husband of the deceased Asha Kumari, who died within seven years of her marriage due to poisoning, in her matrimonial home.
It is alleged that deceased was tortured to enforce the demand of dowry.
Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
Learned trial court shall expedite the trial.
