The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jamtara (Cyber Crime) P.S. Case No.55 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 414, 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 66(B)(C)(D) of the Information Technology Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Jamtara.

On 03.10.2023, cyber police Jamtara raided a place behind Chapudia High School and apprehended the petitioner alongwith coaccused persons. On search mobile phones and e-gadgets used in commission of cyber crime were recovered.

It was submitted that prosecution has not produced any victim to show that the petitioner had duped him by committing cyber offence. It was further submitted that earlier bail application of the petitioner was dismissed as withdrawn with a liberty renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge. It was finally submitted that charge has been framed in this case.

Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Jamtara in connection with Jamtara (Cyber Crime) P.S. Case No.55 of 2023.
