Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Jamtara Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 69 of 2023 for the offences registered under sections 414/419/420/467/468/471/120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and section 66(B) (C) (D) of Information Technology Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Jamtara.

On 10.12.2023, Cyber Police, Jamtara raided a place near Karamatanr and apprehended this petitioner along with co-accused persons on suspicion that they were involved in cybercrime. On search, two mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

It was submitted that no victim has come forward to state that the petitioner had cheated him. It was finally submitted that co-accused Mithun Mandal, Pritam Mandal, Alauddin Ansari and Yabarak Ansari have been granted bail by this court earlier.

Considering the aforesaid facts, petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Jamtara in connection with Jamtara Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 69 of 2023.
