Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Kowali P.S. Case No. 48/2023, Corresponding to Spl POCSO Case No. 82/2023, registered under Sections 376AB/ 354A/ 323/ 504/ 511 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 04/ 10/ 18 of the POCSO Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Jamshedpur.

It is alleged that the petitioner has outraged the modesty of the daughter of the informant. He has also caused injury on her person and on her private parts.

Learned lawyer appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that petitioner is a social activist and the informant and others had embezzled huge amount of money from MNREGA scheme and the petitioner was opposing their nefarious activities due to which the present case has been instituted. It was further submitted that the doctor who had examined the victim has not found any injury on her person.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Jamshedpur in connection with Kowali P.S. Case No. 48/2023, Corresponding to Spl POCSO Case No. 82/2023.
