8/13.09.2024 Heard Mr. Ram Lakhan Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Abhay Kumar Tiwari, learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1682 of 2022.
It has been alleged that 25 logs of wood of different variety, 90 pieces eucalyptus and sal woods and several other equipment used for running saw mill were recovered on a raid conducted by the forest officials.
Submissions have been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioners that they are not concerned with the saw mill and they have no criminal antecedents.
Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners while submitting on instruction that the saw mills were being run by the petitioners and the same have subsequently been demolished by the forest officials.
Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
Accordingly, the petitioners above named are directed to surrender in the court below within four weeks and pray for bail, and in that event, they shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned J. M. 1st class, Giridih in connection with Complaint Case No. 1682 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
This application stands allowed.
