1. The instant Cr. M. P. has been filed for quashing the FIR being Hazaribagh (Sadar) P.S. Case No.866 of 2017 (G.R. No.3578 of 2017) registered for the offence under Sections 420, 409, 467, 468, 469, 471, 434 and 120B IPC.

2. Petitioner was posted as Amin Inspector and it is alleged that he had manipulated the forest cadastral map by which the Government was put to a loss to the tune of Rs.5,85,26,093/- regarding which three separate Police cases were registered apart from Hazaribagh (Sadar) P.S. Case No.866 of 2017 which is under-challenge in the instant Cr. M. P.

3. From perusal of the counter-affidavit filed on behalf of State, it appears that investigation of the present case has been handed-over to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on 26.03.2019. As such, the investigation has been taken over by the ACB and vigilance case has been registered.

In view of the changed circumstances, the instant Cr. M. P. is dismissed as infructuous.

Petitioner is at liberty to pursue appropriate legal remedy(s).
