Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Simdega Mahila P.S. Case No. 17/2023, for the offences registered under sections 376/504/506 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Simdega.

It is alleged that on 06.02.2023, petitioner had established forceful physical relationship with the victim.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed supplementary affidavit annexing the photocopy of the statement of the victim recorded under section 164 of the Cr. P.C. From perusal of it, it appears that the victim who is aged about 30 years had consensual sexual relationship with the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts, petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Simdega in connection with Simdega Mahila P.S. Case No. 17/2023.
