Court for grant of regular bail in connection with Chirkunda (Maithon) P.S. Case No.300 of 2022 registered under Sections 414/ 429/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 11(i) A.D.E.H.K. Cruelty of Animal Act and Section 12 (ii) of Jharkhand Bovine Slaughter Prohibition Act, 2005.
Heard the parties.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence.
It is further submitted that the petitioner is a driver of the truck from which 7 bovine animals have been seized.
It is submitted that the petitioner on the instruction of owner was driving the vehicle and has no concern with the seized animals.
Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer.
Considering the submissions of learned counsel and the fact as discussed above, the bail application is allowed. Accordingly, the petitioner named above shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below.
