3. This writ petition has been filed for the following relief:
“a. For quashing the part of the notification no.105 dated 8.1.2014 whereby and whereunder the juniors (from s no.50) have been promoted but the present petitioner even after being recommended for promotion has not been promoted while juniors to the petitioner have been promoted.
And/or
b. For a direction upon the respondent to correct/modify the notification no.105 dated 8.1.2014 whereby and whereunder juniors to the petitioner have been promoted while the petitioner has been ignored even when the name of the petitioner was recommended by all the authorities.
And/or

c. For declaring that the acts and actions of the respondent in not promoting the petitioner from the post of Forester to that of Range Forest Officer is bad in law as because the juniors of the present petitioner have been promoted whereas the petitioner name was ignored without any rhyme and reason even when the petitioner’s name was recommended vide letter no.637 dated 24.02.2012 issued from the office of Chief Conservator of Forest and name of the present petitioner finds mentions in the gradation list issued vide letter no.2381 dated 18.06.2013.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not have any instruction in the present case and he also submits that after filing of the writ petition, the petitioner has already been promoted and perhaps the present case has become infructuous.
5. Considering the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
6. Pending interlocutory application, if any, stands closed.
