It appears that the writ petition bearing W.P. (C) No. 3252/2020 was disposed of on 21.04.2022 with a liberty to the petitioners to file representation before the respondent / Vice – Chancellor, NilambarPitambar University, Medninagar, Palamau and the representation of the petitioners shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the same, but the same has not been complied with within stipulated time.

A show cause has been filed on behalf of opposite party no. 2 on 23.11.2022, whereby it has been submitted that in terms of order dated 21.11.2022, the claim of the petitioners namely, Lalan Kumar Singh and Ashok Kumar has been rejected for the reason assigned in the impugned order and copy of the order has been served upon the petitioners.

The Vice-Chancellor, Nilambar - Pitambar University, Medninagar, Palamau is directed to be more vigilant in future because it is a serious matter, where the order of this Court has not been complied with in time.

Accordingly, the contempt proceeding is dropped and contempt petition is disposed of.
