The petitioner is an accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 07/2011, corresponding to G.R. No. 32/2011.
It has been alleged that five persons including the mother, brother, sister-in-law, nephew and cousin of the informant were murdered. All were killed by axe.
The petitioner seems to have been implicated on the confession of co-accused Rani Orain, Suresh Oraon and Samir Lakra. Several of the co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No. 2122 of 2017, B.A. No. 4968 of 2011, B.A. No. 3194 of 2011 and B.A. No. 6901 of 2011. The case of the petitioner on perusal of the case diary appears to be similar to that of the co-accused who have been granted bail by this Court.
Regard being had to the above, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 07/2011, corresponding to G.R. No. 32/2011.
