Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the State.

Defects, as pointed out by the office, are ignored.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Daltongaj Town P.S. Case No. 214 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under sections 406, 420, 471, 498 A, 323/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The marriage of the daughter of the informant was solemnized with the petitioner in the year 2018. It has been alleged that after marriage the informant came to know that the petitioner is already married. It has further been alleged that the petitioner had demanded money and the daughter of the informant was also subjected to assault. It also appears that the petitioner had already instituted a suit for dissolution of marriage prior to the institution of the FIR. In fact, the wife of the petitioner had filed a case for transfer which was sent for mediation to JHALSA and the matter appears to have been compromised.

On consideration of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks from today and pray for regular bail, and in that event, he will be enlarged on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj, in connection with Daltongaj Town P.S. Case No. 214 of 2019, subject to

the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
