Two writ petitions were filed numbered as W.P(S) No. 7508 of 2006 ad W.P(S) No. 6681 of 2005 in which it was ordered that in future vacancy, age relaxation will be considered to persons who worked as daily wages employees. The State of Bihar being aggrieved by the said judgment of the Patna High Court moved before the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No. 9227-9234 of 1995 which was allowed by the Judgment dated 14.1 1997 and Hon'ble Supreme Court directed to provide one time relaxation in age and the petitioners, who are registered with the Employment Exchange, shall be given priority. The liberty was given to the petitioners to the extent that they could apply for appointment against any post falling vacant if they full fill the qualification and other conditions prescribed for appointment to such posts and if they so apply, they shall be considered in accordance with law. It is stated that the petitioner along with few others were terminated in the year 1998 and as such the petitioner along with others moved before the Patna High Court in CWJC No. 891 of 1998 for regularization of their services by filling up the vacant posts at Pakur Collectorate by making regular appointment giving preference to them
