05/19.11.2019 The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of direction upon the respondent authorities to regularize compromise settlement in terms with the guidelines of compromise settlement. Further prayer has been made for quashing the order dated 10.07.2014 passed in R.P. Case No. 84 of 2009 by the Recovery Officer, Debt Recovery Tribunal, Ranchi. The petitioner has also prayed for issuance of direction upon the concerned respondent authority not to take coercive action without serving show cause notice in terms with clause 73 (Part-V) of the second schedule of the Income Tax Act.

Mr. Gyanendra Kumar, learned counsel for the respondentBank, while producing a copy of the Bank certificate dated 18.11.2019, submits that the loan account no. 07180500010230 has been settled under compromise and the same has been closed on 31.03.2016. The said certificate also suggests that there is no dues against the said account.

In view of the aforesaid submission of the learned counsel for the respondent-Bank, no further order is required to be passed in the present writ petition and the same is accordingly disposed of.

Consequently, I.A. No. 6250 of 2014 also stands disposed of. Copy of Bank certificate dated 18.11.2019 is taken on record.
