06/ 17.12.2019 At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the appeal of the petitioner dated 04.01.2017 (Annexure-8 to the writ petition) is still pending before the Appellate Authority and as such, suffice, it would be if a direction is given to the respondents to pass an appropriate order on the pending appeal of the petitioner, within stipulated time.

Per contra, counter-affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents. However, learned counsel for the respondents does not object the aforesaid submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, without going into the merits of this case, since the appeal of the petitioner is pending before the respondents, I hereby direct the respondents to pass a reasoned order on the pending appeal of the petitioner, in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
