13/22.11.2019 Heard learned counsel for the appellant as well as learned counsel for the respondents.
The valuation of suit and appeal has been mentioned as Rupees Ten Lakhs.
In view of the Bengal, Agra and Assam Civil Courts (Jharkhand Amendment) Act, 2018 (Jharkhand Act No. 09 of 2019), the jurisdiction of the Civil Courts has been enhanced and as per the amendment in Section 21 of (Act, 12 of 1887), that has been enhanced from Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty thousand to Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs.
Therefore, in this circumstances, since the jurisdiction of the High Court has been enhanced to hear the matter above Rs. Twenty Five Lakhs, instant appeal is remanded to the appropriate Court below for hearing and disposal.
Office is directed to remand this appeal to the appropriate District Court for hearing and disposal and send down all relevant files and documents.
