Petitioner is accused in Jugsalai P.S. Case No. 108 of 2017, corresponding to G.R. No. 3292 of 2017 (S.T. No. 222 of 2018), registered for the offence under Sections 498A, 326, 307 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
In this case, status report was called for, which has been received.
Perused the report dated 16.03.2019 submitted by Ajit Kumar Singh, learned District & Additional Sessions JudgeII, Jamshedpur, which reveals that charges under Sections 302, 498A of the I.P.C. have been framed against the petitioner and two witnesses are remained to be examined and the trail court estimated time till May, 2019 to conclude the trial.
Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail.
Be that as it may, keeping in view the fact that the trial is at the verge of conclusion, at this stage, I am not inclined to admit the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
However, trial court is directed to conclude the trial latest by 31.05.2019 and if the trial will not conclude by 31.05.2019, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
