The petitioner is an accused in a case registered under Sections 420, 385, 387, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 18 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has committed no offence as alleged. It is submitted that as per the allegation, the petitioner was involved in demanding levy in connivance with other co-accused persons, who were inside Khunti jail. Co-accused persons, namely, Ajay Tuti and Munna Swansi against whom there is allegation of demanding levy from the jail with the connivance of the petitioner have already been granted bail by different Benches of this Court vide orders dated 20th June, 2018 and 1st February, 2018 in B.A. No.4910 of 2018 and B.A. No.9915 of 2018, respectively. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 11th April, 2018 and as such he may be given the privilege of regular bail.
Learned APP opposes the petitioner's prayer for bail.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner, above named, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like

amount, each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khnti, in connection with Khunti P.S. Case No.118 of 2016, corresponding to G.R. No.354 of 2016(s), with a condition that the petitioner shall physically appear before the Trial Court on each and every date fixed till conclusion of the trial unless his physical appearance is exempted by specific order of the Trial Court for a particular date, failing which the said Court is at liberty to pass appropriate order against the petitioner in accordance with law.
