Apprehending their arrest, the petitioners have moved this Court for grant of privilege of anticipatory bail in connection with Sadar (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 15 of 2018 for the offence registered under Sections 498 A of the Indian Penal Code 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that husband of the informant who is the son of the petitioners has been granted bail, in A.B.A. No. 15 of 2019, today.

Learned counsel for the informant O.P. No. 2 files a counter affidavit corroborating averments made in the FIR. Keep the same in the record. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that as the co-accused husband has already been granted anticipatory bail, hence, the petitioner no. 1 being the father-in-law and the petitioner no. 2 being the mother-in-law be given the privilege of anticipatory bail.

The learned Addl. P.P. assisted by the counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party no. 2 jointly submitted that in view of the settlement between the parties they do not have any objection to the prayer for bail of

the anticipatory bail.

Considering the submissions of the counsels and the fact of the case, I am of the opinion that this is a fit case where the petitioners, named above, be given the privilege of anticipatory bail. Hence, in the event of their arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the date of this order, they shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/(Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hazaribag, in connection with Sadar (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 15 of 2018 subject to the condition laid down under section 438 (2) Cr. P.C.
