Examination, 2006. On the basis of the said recommendation, the respondent-JPSC cancelled the Examination, 2006 and the information to that effect was also given to the candidates vide press release dated 13th June, 2013 (Annexure-4 to the writ petition). Thereafter, the respondent-JPSC sought instruction from the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Rajbhasa, Government of Jharkhand about the Examination, 2006, which was replied vide letter no.364 dated 13th January, 2014, advising the respondent-JPSC to reconduct the Examination, 2006 for those candidates who had already appeared in the said examination. Accordingly, the respondent-JPSC has proceeded to conduct re-examination of Examination, 2006. It has also been stated that after scrutiny of the application forms and in view of the changed circumstance, certain amendments have been made in the advertisement for conducting the re-examination and the steps are being taken to obtain the caste certificate from the candidates of reserved categories i.e. SC/ST, BC-I and BC-II in the format prescribed by the State Government for extending the benefit of reservation. A corrigendum to that effect has also been issued.
