08/03.12.2018 The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the letter no. 6/Sah.Prasha.Niu.and election-124/2015-2480 dated 03.10.2016 issued under the signature of the respondent no. 2 whereby a direction has been issued to the respondent no. 3 to hold an election for the societies which have completed the term of three years or those which are running under extension.
Learned counsel for the petitioners, at the outset, submits that during pendency of the of the writ petition, the managing committees of the concerned societies have already completed five years from the date of last election.
In view of the said submission, I see no reason to proceed further in the present writ petition. The same is accordingly dismissed.
The interim order dated 02.03.2017 passed by this Court stands vacated.
I.A. No. 719 of 2017, I.A. No. 1705 of 2017 and I.A. No. 3073 of 2017 stand disposed of accordingly.
