Heard the counsel for the parties.
The petitioner is an accused for the offence punishable under Section(s) 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged that the petitioner and others extorted money from the shopkeepers and tempo drivers. One Activa Vehicle was recovered which was used by him.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 4.9.2018 and there is criminal antecedent of the petitioner.
Taking into consideration the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Deoghar, in connection with Deoghar (T) P.S. Case No. 543 of 2018.
