Heard learned counsel for the parties. Learned A.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.
The petitioner is an accused for allegedly committing an offence punishable under Sections 147/148/149/341/323/307/385/387/435 /333/427 of the IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 10/13 of the UAP Act.
There is allegation against the petitioner that he was collecting levy and later on put on fire the Bolero vehicle. It is alleged that petitioner terrorized the labourers and also assaulted them. There are fifteen cases pending against this petitioner.
Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Mandu (WB) P.S. Case No. 121 of 2015, corresponding to G.R. No. 1152 of 2015, pending in the court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Ramgarh stands rejected at this stage.
