Petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 74 of 2017, corresponding to G.R. No. 2509 of 2017 for the offence under sections 406, 498A and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under section 3/4D.P. Act.

It appears that the matter of the parties in A.B.A. No. 623 of 2018 was sent to the JHALSA but as per mediation report dated 27.08.2018 the matter could not be settled and today, the matter is being heard on merit.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that petitioner-Ratan Sao @ Ratan Saw in A.B.A. No.623 of 2018 is the husband of O.P. No. 2 and petitioners in A.B.A. No.198 of 2018 are the in-laws of the O.P. No. 2 and there are general and omnibus allegation against these petitioners.

Learned A.P.P as well as learned counsel for the O.P. No. 2 opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the fact that petitioner-Ratan Sao @ Ratan Saw in A.B.A. No.623

of 2018 is the husband of the O.P. No. 2, I am not inclined to grant him anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is hereby rejected.

So far as prayer for anticipatory bail on behalf of petitioners (A.B.A. No. 198 of 2018) is concerned, they are the are the in-laws of the O.P. No. 2, I am inclined to grant them anticipatory bail. Accordingly, Prakash Chandra Saw @ Prakash Chandra Sao, Kalayani Saw @ Kalyani Devi @ Kalyani Sao, Raja Sao @ Rabi Sao and Puja Sao @ Punam Sao (A.B.A. No. 198 of 2018)are directed to surrender in the Court below within four weeks from the date of this order and in the event of their arrest or surrender the Court below shall enlarge them on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand)each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the court of Sri Arvind Katchhap, learned J.M, Ist Class, Jamshedpur in connection with Govindpur P.S. Case No. 74 of 2017, corresponding to G.R. No. 2509 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
