Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
Petitioner is an accused for allegedly committing an offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 302, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act, in connection with Manika Police Station Case No.37 of 2014 (G.R. No.268 of 2014) corresponding to Session Trial No.125 of 2016 pending in the Court of learned Additional Session Judge I, Latehar.
Petitioner was an absconder, which is apparent from the impugned order.
In that view, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner, namely, Santosh Yadav, in connection with Manika Police Station Case No.37 of 2014 (G.R. No.268 of 2014) corresponding to Session Trial No.125 of 2016, pending in the Court of learned Additional Session Judge I, Latehar, is hereby rejected.
The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial so as to
conclude the same at the earliest.
This application stands dismissed.
