09/ 16 . 03.2017 Asserting that the petitioner who received advances for

completion of the project, however, did not ensure its timely completion, the petitioner's claim has been denied by the respondents. It is pleaded that the petitioner received Rs.5,35,000/on 05.07.2012 for construction of new school building however, the construction could not be completed within time and in the aforesaid facts, letter dated 04.07.2016 was issued by the District Superintendent of Education-cum-District Programme Officer. By the said order, the Block Education Extension Officer was directed to make payment to the petitioner once he ensures completion of the construction within one month. The petitioner being, a Secretary of the Village Education Committee has been entrusted with the supervision of the construction work.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

construction of new school building is by now complete. There is no statement in this regard in the counter-affidavit filed on behalf of the respondents.

3. In the aforesaid facts, the Block Education Extension Officer, Ichagarh is directed to make payment of honorarium to the petitioner if the construction of new school building is by now complete, within four weeks.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of.
