03/18.11.2017 Heard learned counsel for the parties.
As per the petitioner, he was superannuated on 28th February 2017 while working as Headmaster at Bishunpur Middle School in the District of Gumla. He has approached this Court for grant of pensionary benefits like gratuity, G.P.F., leave encashment, group insurance, etc. in the admissible pay scale. He had joined as a teacher earlier in 1976 at Kolebira Block and has discharged his duties to the satisfaction of the superiors. Representations made for redressal of grievances such as Annexure-1 have remained unredressed. Therefore, petitioner has approached this Court.
Counter affidavit of the respondent no.3 filed by the State counsel at para-9 to 12 states that pension and gratuity of the petitioner has been sanctioned vide memo no.1592 dated 16th September 2017 and sent to the office of Accountant General through letter no.1593 dated 16th September 2017. The Accountant General is required to issue authority slip after its scrutiny which is to be paid through the concerned Treasury Officer (Annexure-A series). G.P.F. deduction has been sanctioned vide letter no.489 dated 23rd March 2017 (Annexure-B), group insurance amount has been sanctioned to the tune of Rs.1,35,503/- vide memo no.1860 dated 7.11.2017 and will be paid by the concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officer (Annexure-C). Leave encashment amount for 300 days has been sanctioned to the tune of Rs.9,77,160/- vide memo no.1861 dated 7th November 2017 to be paid by the Drawing and Disbursing Officer (Annexure-D). No postretirement dues are pending with the respondents.

Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it appears that the grievances of the petitioner have been redressed. In case there is delay in issuance of authority slip towards pension and gratuity by the office of the Accountant General, petitioner is at liberty to approach the office of Accountant General with a representation in that regard. Writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
