The petitioner is an accused in a case registered under Sections 448/354 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has not committed any offence as alleged in the F.I.R. The informant is the neighbour of the petitioner, who with a malafide motive has implicated the petitioner to pressurise him for compromise Ranga P.S. Case No. 40 of 2016 in which the petitioner is a witness. The petitioner is a student presently pursuing B.Sc. (Part-III). The petitioner is in judicial custody since 01.05.2017 and, therefore, he may be given the privilege of regular bail.

The learned A.P.P. opposes the petitioner's prayer for bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rajmahal, in connection with Ranga P.S. Case No. 31 of 2017, corresponding to G.R. No. 335 of 2015.
