2/7.04.2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. Petitioner has been made accused for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 353, 332, 333, 307, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, in connection with Siyaljori (Bangoria) P.S. Case No.55 of 2011, corresponding to G.R. No.1744 of 2011, S.T. No.72 of 2015.
There is allegation against the named accused persons and a mob of about 30 to 35 persons to have attacked the police party and to have assaulted and injured the members of the police party by sharp cutting weapons. Petitioner is also named in the FIR.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, prayer for bail stands rejected.
