It appears that defect as pointed out by the office has been ignored on 2.3.2015.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.

In this application, the petitioner has prayed for direction for releasing the Group Insurance amount with interest to the petitioner on account of death of her husband, who was employed under the Jharkhand Urja Vikash Nigam Limited as a Lineman. It appears from the pleadings made in the writ application that the petitioner's husband died in harness on 3.5.2011 and although it has been averred that all the monetary benefits have been released in favour of the petitioner but the amount towards Group Insurance has not yet been released for which the petitioner has already submitted representation before the respondent no.3. It appears that the said representation is pending and the decision has not been taken on the same.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.3 to consider the representation submitted on behalf of the petitioner and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that if the dues as claimed by the petitioner is found legal and admissible, the same shall be made available to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of disposal of the representation.
