Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner seeks compassionate appointment on the ground of death of his father late Mahadeo in harness on 02.09.1995. He is said to have made his claim on 23.04.1996 enclosing all relevant documents. However, no decision has been taken in the matter.
Having regard to the averment made in the writ petition, prayer for compassionate appointment made herein after 20 years of death of the employee in harness is wholly stale and cannot be granted. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
