Petitioner is seeking payment of post retirement benefits on his retirement on 30.6.2014 from the post of Head Lineman at Electricity Supply Division, Jamtara under the respondent- Jharkhand Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd, successor of Jharkhand State Electricity Board.

Learned counsel for the respondent- Electricity Board / Company submits that petitioner's grievance can be considered by the respondent no.3, General Manager cum Chief Engineer, Electricity Supply Circle, J.S.E.B., Dumka in accordance with law after due verification of the relevant service records of the petitioner.

Having regard to the aforesaid submission made, at this stage, without getting into the merit of the claim of the petitioner, the writ petition is being disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3,General Manager cum Chief Engineer, Electricity Supply Circle, J.S.E.B., Dumka to take decision on the petitioner's grievances in accordance with law after due verification of the relevant service records of the petitioner within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order along with petitioner's representation.

Needless to say that dependent upon such decision, admissible post retirement dues along with statutory interest be released in favour of the petitioner within a reasonable time.

The writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
