purpose. The petitioner has failed to disclose a legal right in himself for settlement of aforesaid land in his favour. The learned counsel for the petitioner is also unable to refer to any other provision in law under which the petitioner can seek settlement of the land in question. I find no merit in the writ petition and accordingly it is dismissed.
