The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Angara P.S. Case No.24 of 2015, corresponding to G.R. No. 1934 of 2015, for the offence under Sections 406, 409, 418, 420, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
There is allegation against the petitioner and the other co-accused to have taken Rs.13,82,500 from the informant for sale of land, but neither the land was sold to the informant nor the money was returned back.
