The petitioners are accused in a case registered under Sections 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code; Section 11(Gha) (Da) of Animal Cruelty Act, 1960; and Section 12 of the Jharkhand Bovine Animal Slaughtering Act, 2005.

It reveals, in course of night patrolling, 92 cattle to whom the accused persons were taking for slaughtering have been seized, but no accused was apprehended. The villagers disclosed the names of accused persons involved in taking cattle for slaughtering.

It is submitted that co-accused Tinku Quraishi has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court vide A.B.A. No.1596 of 2014.

Counsel for the State has opposed the petitioners' prayer for anticipatory bail.

Since similarly situated co-accused is enjoying the privilege of bail, the petitioners, above named, are also directed to surrender before the court below within two weeks from today and, if they do so, they shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand), each, with two sureties of like amount, each, to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Gumla in connection with Ghaghra P.S. Case No.51 of 2013, corresponding to G.R. No.729 of 2013, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
