03/ 02.07.14. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that a license for
running a PDS shop was granted in the name of his father. After his father died, the petitioner did apply for grant of license of the same on compassionate ground. That application was rejected as at the time no such scheme of the Government was there. Now the Government has come with certain scheme that license can be granted to the heirs of the deceased for running the PDS shop and in that event, he may be permitted to withdraw this application so that he may file an application before the appropriate authority for grant of license of PDS shop on compassionate ground.
With the aforesaid liberty, this application is permitted to be withdrawn.
