4/ 11.07.2014 When it was submitted on behalf of Jharkhand Public Service Commission ( for short 'JPSC') that the caste certificate, issued by the competent authority-Sub Divisional Officer of the Sub Division, was required to be submitted for taking benefit of reserved category, but the petitioner had submitted caste certificate issued by the Block Development Officer of the concerned Block and, therefore, the petitioner was not treated as a candidate of reserved category, rather she was treated as a candidate of general category, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it may be that the petitioner may not have submitted the caste certificate, issued by the Sub Divisional Officer, but in such situation, JPSC had given an opportunity to the number of the candidates for rectifying their mistakes but in the case of the petitioner that opportunity was never given to her and that the petitioner does have caste certificate, issued by the competent authority, photo-copy of which she will be filing along with the supplementary affidavit, which would be filed to the effect, as stated above, in course of day or at best by 14.7.2014.
