Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner did appear in the Civil Judge [Junior Division] Preliminary Test, 2014 conducted by the J.P.S.C., Ranchi as Scheduled Tribe candidate and secured 47 marks in the said Test and the candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe candidates securing 25 marks and more have been called upon to take Main Examination, whereas the petitioner has fetched much much more marks than 25, still he has not been declared as on successful in the Preliminary Examination reason being that he has been put under the General category though the required certificate shows that the petitioner belongs to category of Scheduled Tribe. Beside that the petitioner did deposit prescribed fee meant for the Scheduled Tribe candidates still he has been treated as a candidate of General category and on account of that the petitioner has not been called upon to take Main examination.
As prayed for, let this case be listed tomorrow i.e. 11.07.2014 so that instructions be taken by the counsel appearing for the J.P.S.C.
