This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing the appeal against the impugned award dated 31.05.2013 passed by MACT, Ramban.
There is a delay of 188 days in filing the appeal against the impugned award. I have gone through the contents of the application and heard learned counsel for the parties. The application contains detailed reasons for not filing the appeal within the prescribed period of limitation. In the absence of any rebuttal on behalf of the respondents, I am satisfied that the applicants have explained the delay in filing the appeal. The application is, therefore, allowed and the delay in filing the appeal is condoned.
The main appeal is taken on board.
