It is admitted by the parties that the present lis is covered by the judgment rendered by this Court in Sudarshan Kumar versus State of Himachal Pradesh and another C.W.P.(T)No.9291 of 2008 dated 11.11.2010. Consequently, the writ petition is allowed. The respondents are directed to treat the appointment of the petitioner to be validly made at par with those candidates, who were appointed on the basis of select list, with all consequential benefits, except arrears of salary. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any. No costs.
