For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and the delay in filing the review petition is condoned. The application stands disposed of accordingly.

C.Rev.No.65 of 2008:

This review petition has been filed for seeking review of the judgment, dated 23^rd July, 2008, passed by this Court. This Court had come to the conclusion that 10 marks for higher qualifications could only be given in respect of qualifications in the field of Physical Education and not for the higher qualifications in any other field. The review petitioner had been granted 10 extra marks for having obtained her M.A. Degree in Mathematics. This Court, vide the impugned judgment, held that these extra marks could not have been awarded to her since they had no connection with the post of Physical Education Teacher. Thereafter, we had directed the respondents to make fresh appointments on the basis of the interviews already held.

The review petitioner submits that in view of the events which have taken place prior to the decision rendered by us but during the pendency of the writ petition, this order calls for review. The main contention raised is that the writ petitioner Kamaljit Singh has already been appointed as Physical Education Teacher in some other school and Vijay Prashar, the person at Sl.No.2 of the original merit list, has also been appointed in some other school.
