The matters were kept at the top of the board
however, learned advocate Mr.Patel has chosen not
to remain present before this Court.
1.The writ petitions are filed inter alia for
the following prayers:
“8A. YOUR LORDSHIPS may be pleased to issue a writ of
mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ, order or
direction in the nature of mandamus to respondent
no.2 GETCO to consider installing underground EHT
cable laying of 220 KV underground electrical cable
of 1200 sq. mm for the said purpose as the up
gradation of 132 KV line to 220 KV lin same being the
illegal, discriminating and arbitrary;
B. YOUR LORDSHIPS be pleased to Issue an appropriate,
writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to

the respondent no.2 directing not laying of 220 KV
over the property of the petitioner;”
2. Learned advocates for the respective parties have submitted that in fact the work of laying down the electric towers as well as cables is already completed and so far as the work of underground electric cables is concerned, the same is in operation.
3. Under the circumstances, the prayers made in the writ petitions cannot be entertained. Hence, the present writ petitions stand rejected in view of the subsequent development. Notice is discharged.
4. As a sequel, the connected civil applications also stand disposed of.
5. Registry to place a copy of this order in each of the connected matters.
